Hello, I am Mahr Elder

I am a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a “fellow” in The California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. I attended the University of the Pacific for undergraduate studies, maintaining a 4.0 scholastic average. I attended UOP Dental School in San Francisco, receiving a D.D.S. degree and attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where I received an M.D.degree.

I am proud to have been awarded the Dean’s Scholarship and high honors at both institutions. I then completed my residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Detroit/Henry Ford Hospital program. My training included Facial Trauma, Orthognathic Surgery, Dental Implantology, and TMJ disorders. Dr. Elder has volunteered his services in less developed countries like Ethiopia and rural Mexico. I am also currently affiliated with Novato Community Hospital. I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, and in my spare time I am an amateur arborist.
